Funny isn't it? Only people like George Bush and Swift Boat Veterans for Truth tell lies.
Maybe it's because John Kerry's lies are just too numerous to keep up with......?
You can't get 20 some odd people to lie about something like this, Chuck. Have you read their statements?
Bedrock: they're not lying. I probably shouldn't have said that. From what I have read they are bitter about Kerry coming home and dumping his medals. And I will go with the Boston Globe on this until they say their story is wrong. I've been in a reporter's shoes and an editor's shoes when people say "I was misquoted." It almost always means: I said it, I didn't think you were going to print it, and now I'm in trouble up to my ankles with people I was trying to impress." I've been aware of this group for several months now and one of my biases is to pass off anything like this that happens in an election year as politically motivated and paid for.
I agree that it's politically motivated. One of the leaders said that he hadn't spoken out while Kerry was confined to Massachussetts but he was "called back to duty" when Kerry started running for the presidency. Some auto dealer in Texas contributed money but what they have to work with is peanuts compared to what George Soros has kicked in to Kerry.
Chuck I know he's the Democrats "hope". But are you really satisfied that he's the kind of person that should be leading this country?
